RAM Mount 3'' Long Arm with Double 1'' Sockets Description:

The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard 3.0'' Double Socket Arm has a socket at either end to allow a 1'' diameter ball accessories to be connected.

A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1'' diameter ball. When loosening the side screw, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection or completely disconnect the ball from the socket.

The arm length is 3.0'' when measured from socket center to socket center. The total length of the arm is 3.69''.

RAM Mount Round 2.5'' dia Plate with 1'' Ball Description:

The Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5'' diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. If required, the different hole patterns allow you to connect this plate to almost any type of existing hole pattern.

NOTE: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL cradles, but generally the RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.

RAM Mount Zinc Coated Rail U-Bolt Base with 1'' Ball Description:

The Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included will fit a circular rail with diameter from 3/4'' to 1.0''.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can slot the black plastic covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM-B-231LZS Large Rail Base for circular rails with diameter from 3/4'' to 1 1/8''.

NOTE: This base is NOT rust proof. If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.

RAM Mount Diamond Plate with 1'' Ball Description:

The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4'' x 2 1/2 '' DRAM-B-238 e-drawingiamond Plate. The plate has two holes 1.912'' from center to center, positioned at either tip of the diamond plate.

NOTE: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders and the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.

RAM Mount Plastic Universal Medium Side Clamping Cradle Description:

The Medium RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices.

USING THE CRADLE:
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom of the back of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle is a small support to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle.

IMPORTANT CRADLE USE:
The RAM side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle.

The RAM High Strength Plastic POWERED Cradle is designed to hold the complete Compaq iPaq PDA Series

PLACING YOUR GPS INTO THE CRADLE:
Place the top of the PDA into the top spring loaded hook arms, and push the arms up. Now swing the bottom of the PDA into the cradle and carefully lower the PDA into the power plug at the bottom of the cradle.

INCLUDED WITH THE CRADLE:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.
